Mont Vernon has only about 1000 property owners. Our limited tax base means our town relies on private donations and grants to keep tax burdens low and pace the work sustainably. As the NH Preservation Alliance has noted, the loss of the Town Hall would be a severe blow to Mont Vernon's historic character. Private donations, grants, and community support are essential.

Vote yes at Town Meeting: Warrant articles for the Town Hall Capital Reserve Fund is one way we grow our matching dollars year over year. Your vote directly funds the project.
Volunteer at events: We always need extra hands at community events. Contact us to get involved.
Join the Heritage Commission:The Commission meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Fire Station meeting room. New members are always welcome. Come to a meeting and see if it's a fit.
Spread the word: Share our story with neighbors, friends, and on social media. Awareness drives donations.
